Using either the realm-ware battlefield 3 editor or by editing a file in C:/libraries/documents/battlefield3/settings/PROF_SAVE_profile you can move the mini map to a more central position on your monitor this is pretty handy if you have a wide screen monitor and find it a strain on the eye balls to sneak a quick peek

Simply open up "PROF_SAVE_profile" in word pad and replace the existing values with the following

GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaHeight 0.990000
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth 0.650000


Your HUD will then look like this..

Remember to create a back up before you edit that file and also sync the cloud database with your pc or the settings will revert to the clouds previously synced settings
