I would kill you for a crumpet.

I've just setup the server basics, there's a lot of configuring to be done.

Server IP: 212.129.54.157:2300
Password: banana

Make a desktop shortcut (right-click the game in your Steam Games list) and make sure the TARGET box reads this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe" -nosplash -skipintro -cpuCount=4 -noLogs -maxMem=6144 -connect="212.129.54.157:2300" -password="banana"

Change C:\ if your game is installed somewhere else.
Change -cpuCount if your CPU has more (or less) than 4 cores.
Change -maxMem=6144 if you want ArmA 3 to use more (or less) than 6gig of ram.
Delete/ignore all that if you question my skillz.

The server is passworded for a day or two whilst I get a handle on things.

Starting cash and 5-minute wages are different to the other server we played on. (Our stuff is cheaper to compensate.)
This will be adjusted if needed.

Anyone can be a medic or civilian but players who want to be cops have to be whitelisted.
Post here if you're interested. (I will probably bounce back and forth between cop + medic depending on what's needed at the time.)

Psirus OFFLINE	Good work! There isn't any public cop slots. You probably already know but there isn't any restart messages yet. I haven't noticed any paycheck messages either though I have been getting paid. Another good launch parameter which speeds up game loading is -world=empty by default arma loads stratis as its used in the menu background, that parameter stops this. -Psi

Hyper OFFLINE	No missions, random server restarts (had one at 12 and just at 2.10pm),starting money too low,no map markers for your character,repair kits one time use only.

DY357LX OFFLINE I would kill you for a crumpet.	Okay, I'll give these a look when I get home. Have a look on that forum I linked above for a on missions/heli crashes mod etc. Remember that the money is the Altis Life default/standard. Everything is cheaper than the server we were playing on so it kinda balances out. Not sure about the random restart. Possibly a GTX issue.

Hyper OFFLINE	Also player position dont save on restart always a new spawn point needed.Stamina appears to be on, Vehicles Dont save after restart need to buy again. Cant you "borrow" missions like you did with the atm script on wasteland? Pickaxe can only be used by pressing Y then selecting use.

DY357LX OFFLINE I would kill you for a crumpet.	Yeah I'll probably "learn from" the files from the previous server we were using. Surprised that so much of the official Altis Life doesn't work. Is there anything in there that we didn't like or need changing? Other than the God-damn church bells.

I'm working through a list of fixes at the moment.

Some of those mods are fairly old and might not work with a different version but I'll try as many as possible. Apparently dogs cause a lot of lag and there's 5/6 pages of people trying to fix it.

I'm off tomorrow so I'll work through as much as possible.

At 8pm I'll set Hyper + Pip to master Admins and give everyone a couple of million to play with.
(No new mission files will be needed. It's all in the database.)

DY357LX OFFLINE I would kill you for a crumpet.	Okay, password is back to "banana". Pip, Rover, Psirus, Hyper and myself are set to Admins, Police + Medics. Lots of cash added. Will try to get player position saving working this evening and tomorrow. Repair kits no long delete after one use. ArmA 3 stamina/fatigue removed. If you spawn of the debug island just kill yourself/respawn and you'll be able to select a town/HQ.
