UPDATE: Sept 28th 2am - Server switched to Tanoa. Mod list (below) updated.
More to be added / configured tomorrow.


Currently running the Altis map and the following mods:
Infistar (for Admins) - Tested. Working.
Extra XM8 apps - Tested. Working.
DMS Mission Mod - Testing.
Capture Points mod - Testing.
Randomised loadouts. Testing. - Broken. Removed.
Lockers can now hold 500,000 pop tabs. (Up from 10,000)
Slightly better vehicles can now be found in spawn towns.
Roaming AI - Working.
StatusBar - Working.
Additional Base Building Objects mod - Added. Working.
Removed AI heli that was causing problems.

Mods can be found here: http://www.exilemod.com/forum/158-downloads-releases/. Be sure to look at the last few posts of each topic, as a lot of mods are old and broken!
Take up server configuration requests (trader prices, player loadouts, etc) with whoever is going to handle that (Tasinger?).

Check this topic every 2/3 days as I'll add new info and update it as required.
When I add mods in, or make changes, it'll be around midnight/1am as I play Ark most evenings.
(It also means I can start and stop the server at will without disrupting gameplay.)

Here are the territory/map settings:

Thanks DY357LX.

My preference on map if any is stratis or altis due to its the large size and the possibility to add lots of missions.

Mod wise I think the server we have been playing on recently has extended base mod for exile, rhs, CuP core, terrains maps, rhs, frenzied mod pack and rappel mod not fussed about rappel. I thin there should be no thermal scanners and real low spawn of mobile phones for big mumma's.

Actually thinking about it those maps might be to big for a small server, perhaps chernarus is best.

I've just added missions and the Extended Base Mod. :-/

Chernarus is a 4+gig download (last I remember).
Have a chat with the guys on TeamSpeak Wednesday evening and decide on one.
I essentially have to start over if you change your minds again.

I really don't mind which map is chosen, I'll defer to you guys judgement. I'm not keen at all on that Australia map though, it looked like shit and gave terrible frame rates.

I'm in work at the mo so can't go looking through the error logs.
I played on the server for ~30 mins last night before going to bed.

Only things I can think of at the mo:
Have someone restart the server. (It should be restarting every 3 hours anyway, though).
Make sure you're ONLY running Exile and Extended Base Mod. NOTHING ELSE (RHS etc).

Alright.... I'll start modding (AGAIN) in the next hour or so.
I'll add in one or two things at a time and rely on you guys to test the new additions.

Also, as for the "memory error" you guys are apparently...
1: Would it kill you guys to write down the exact error or provide a screenshot?
2: Lots of people on the Exile & Epoch forums are having similar issues and claim running the game as Administrator fixes it.
3: This is the error that appears in the logs:
Slow network for player name='Pip Peters', ID=XXXXXXXXXX, steamID=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. DisconnectTimeout too high (16/90000 ms)

Don't worry too much about it for now, I'm currently trying to find a working Tanoa mission file.

I think we should keep the server password protected for the time being until we finalise all the minor details. Not a good idea for everyone to invest a ton of play time into it to change it all further down the line.

In addition to mods, we also need to decide on what spawns, what doesn't and how much everything costs.

I propose that vehicles up to armed Helis, apc's should be possible, with armed vehicles being incredibly rare and/or expensive.

Thats after about 20 seconds of parachuting down, now everytime i try to connect.

update: there are earthquakes, as soon as they start we get the above error. Both me and rab at the same time.

I cleared out the logs before leaving for work. Should make finding any kicks that occur today a little easier to find.
I also removed the earthquakes event. Although why that causes problems is beyond me, it's a built-in (to Exile) event. Must be something to do with the BattlEye filters that comes with Infistar.

If you guys want to attempt fixing BattlEye kicks whilst I'm occupied, all you need is an RCON tool (DaRT or EPM) and FTP access. (I use FireFTP in Firefox.)

Looking good Dy thanks. We were discussing last night the vehicles and prices and we think that are bang on. Is it possible to add armed helicopters like the ghost hawk, huey, and huron at perhaps the top end of the helicopter price list? These use iron sights so do not mean that they provide unfair advantage in my opinion.

Can the bank account limit be increased aswell.

Ps, hope I didn't break anything last night experimented with loading a couple of mods, then changed the battleye text to allow. Did not work so I reverted the changes immediately.
