Windows 10’s release marked the return of the Start Menu, and what a glorious return it was. Desktop users could say goodbye to the confusing parallel of the Start Screen and the desktop and finally navigate programs and folders with an interface built for the mouse. Windows 10’s Start is a big improvement over Windows 8’s, for sure, but if you love the Start Menu of old, you may still have some quibbles with this new implementation.
Microsoft Windows 10 comes with yet another caveat. If you are running any pirated games or counterfeit software on your Windows 10 machine, then according to the latest addition to the European License Agreement terms of conditions Microsoft has the power to remotely uninstall such software.
After teasing the possibility, EA and DICE have revealed the next DLC pack for Battlefield 4--yes, 4, notHardline--and its focus is on nighttime combat, hence the name: Night Operations.
While we don't yet know everything it consists of, we have gotten our first look at a new map that's set at night, and it certainly looks intriguing. Named Zavod: Graveyard Shift, it's based on existing BF4 map Zavod 311. Despite taking inspiration from 311, Graveyard Shift is described in a blog post as a "new map that brings with it several improvements and tweaks to allow for more stealthy and tactical gameplay."
The day has arrived. Windows 10, Microsoft's latest operating system and the follow-up to the controversial Windows 8 (there was no Windows 9), launched on Wednesday--and you can probably get it for free.

As part of a special offer, Windows 7 and 8 users can upgrade to Windows 10 for free for the first year after launch. Windows 8, released in October 2012, was controversial in part because of its touch-focused tile design that was dramatically different to Windows 7. Microsoft addressed these criticisms with frequent--and substantial updates--including Windows 8.1. The company isn't starting over with Windows 10, but Microsoft appears to be taking a more measured approach with its latest OS.
